Attorney Erica Bodwell joined Borofsky, Amodeo-Vickery & Bandazian, PA in February 2004. Attorney Bodwell’s practice is concentrated in appellate work at the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the federal courts, legal research and writing, and litigation support. She has several reported New Hampshire Supreme Court cases including the recreational law decision in Allen v. Dover Co-Recreational Softball League, 148 N.H. 407 (2002).
Prior to arriving at Borofsky, Amodeo-Vickery & Bandazian, PA, Attorney Bodwell worked at Stein, Volinsky & Callaghan in Concord, New Hampshire, concentrating her practice in complex litigation support, appellate work, and legal research and writing. She worked with Attorney Volinsky in representing the estate of a two-year-old child who died of lead poisoning in Manchester, New Hampshire, and drafted and filed complex procedural motions in several Catholic Church priest abuse cases. Attorney Bodwell also worked for the Manchester law firm of Backus, Meyer, Solomon & Branch, focusing in the areas of legal research and writing and plaintiff’s employment and civil rights law. Attorney Bodwell founded and launched the Paralegal and Nurse-Paralegal Studies programs at Franklin Pierce College in 1995.
Attorney Bodwell was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar in 1991. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York in 1987 and her Juris Doctor degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1991. Attorney Bodwell is a member of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Women’s Bar Association. She sits on the board of Fellowship Housing Opportunities, Inc. in Concord, New Hampshire, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing for the chronically mentally ill. Attorney Bodwell is an adjunct faculty member at Franklin Pierce College, teaching in the Masters of Business Administration program. Erica and her husband Mark have two boys, Jordan and Matthew.
